Course Description: To support the San Bernardino County Vision2Read initiative, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools invites representatives from school-based organizations and community affiliates to support early literacy and school readiness that can impact the academic success and social-emotional wellness in our homes, schools, and communities.

Footsteps2Brilliance is a dual-language development mobile application that provides children with an array of digital books, skill-based games and writing activities. The instructional tools are accessible with or without Wifi and use an engaging game-based technology format to support the foundational skills for language and literacy development and Common Core English Language Arts standards in preschool to 3rd grade.

SBCSS appreciates the support of our collective impact community partners to raise the bar for literacy in San Bernardino County.

Choose one session to learn about the essential roles Literacy Ambassadors play in supporting San Bernardino County including:
- Communicating the Free accessibility to Footsteps2Brilliance for children (ages 0-8) and families in your local community
- Promoting the program by displaying posters and sharing registration cards
- Building early literacy skills at home gives an advantage that positively impacts a child's learning and preparation for school
