Course Description: Participants will deepen their foundational understanding of the 2020 California Arts Education Framework as they thoroughly explore Chapter 2: The Instructional Cycle. This course will provide participants with an overview of the structure of 2019 California Arts Education content standards and supporting learning for all students. We will dive into understanding about how to establish clear learning expectations for artistic literacy to support learning for all students. This course will also outline big shifts in arts education as indicated by the 2019 standards.
