Teachers for Tomorrow (TFT) Program

Teachers for Tomorrow (TFT) is a part of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, Classified Schools Employees Association (CSEA), and Teamsters Local Union No. 1932 Career Ladder. This program was established to encourage and support career development for CSEA and Teamsters Local Union No. 1932 members.

What is the program?

The TFT Program offers financial assistance to up to 4–6 unit members per fiscal year, with a maximum of 16 qualified permanent SBCSS employees. Participants receive up to $3,000 per fiscal year for payment of tuition fees and textbooks for up to four years, provided they maintain the basic requirements of the program.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify, applicants must:

Be a permanent CSEA or Teamsters unit member employed by SBCSS
Have successfully completed the probationary period
Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited college/university program
Be pursuing a teaching credential

How do I get started?

If you are interested in becoming a Teachers for Tomorrow participant, you must apply and submit an application with two (2) letters of recommendation to Human Resources.
